Rahul Gandhi in America!!!

Ok. Arun Jaitley says Yashwant Sinha is a job applicant at 80. But what about all the job applicants in their 20s, who will not get jobs this year, or next year, because of the handling of the economy by Modi Sarkar? The Financial Times says, “Making an important point, Gandhi said the reason for the rise of PM Modi and also of US President Donald Trump was creation of jobs. “A large part of our populations simply do not have jobs and cannot see a future and so they are feeling the pain. And they have supported these type of leaders. The problem is that the record on jobs of these leaders – I do not know Trump so I won’t go there – but certainly the record on jobs of our Prime Minister is not good enough.”

He’s right, Mr Modi went all over India in 2014 complaining to the young about unemployment. MK Venu writes in The Wire, that Mr Modi had said, “I cant do much about those in their fifties but I want to transform the lives of those in their twenties who are seeking new employment.” New employment? Forget new employment, in 2017 the young are worried about never being employed for the first time in their lives…
The Wire continues: “During the three years from 2009 to 2011, when India’s GDP was still growing at an average 8.5%, the organised sector was producing on average 9.5 lakh new jobs every year. Bear in mind, even this was seen relatively as ‘jobless growth’. In the last two years, 2015 and 2016, the average employment generation has plummeted to less than 2 lakh jobs a year. This is less than 25% of the annual employment generated before 2011.”
So you’re right Rahul Gandhi, on the matter of jobs for the young “the record of our Prime Minister is not good enough.
