Imam Siraj Wahhaj urged the audience to get involved at the grassroots level in his customary inspirational manner and emphasised that the plan devised by ASPAIRE under the direction of Dr. Shaik Ubaid—to forge genuine and broad-based alliances at the grassroots—is the only means of defeating Hindutva and its potent allies.

The only way to overcome Hindutva and its formidable allies, according to Shaik Ubaid, is to forge genuine, broad-based partnerships at the grassroots level. Local leaders like Ahmed Shaban sent a strong message encouraging the Muslim community to vote in record numbers on November 8th.

Dr. Ubaid briefed Cheik Ahmed Mbareck of the transnational militant Hindutva movement, which is the fastest-growing Islamophobic danger in the US, during his advocacy work with interfaith leaders and members of Congress. Cheik Ahmed Mbareck then made the decision to join this fight. Follow-up initiatives to educate activists and leaders to combat Islamophobia locally in Minnesota have been announced. Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be the next destination on the Waking up America tour on Friday, December 16.
