Rethinking a show of hands?
Lucknow February 12: The entry of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in UP politics and the massive turnout at her road show along with her brother Rahul Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Sundial in Lucknow on Monday has stirred up political equations in the state.
Political equations in Lucknow are indicating a possible shift in Opposition equations.
Samajwadi Party President on Tuesday dropped a big hint at the way things are to shape up in future by stating that the “Congress is part of the Opposition alliance in UP.”
Talking to media Yadav said “This coalition is not only with the BSP, but the Congress is also part of this alliance. RLD has been given three seats, they are also part of it. The Nishad Party is also a part of the alliance. We have contested together in the past. The Peace party has also helped us. In the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, some will be with us and some will be with us in Vidhan Sabha polls too.”
Akhilesh Yadav on coalition with smaller parties: Ye gathbandhan BSP se toh hai, wahin aapki aur jankari hogi ki Congress party bhi shamil hai, RLD ko bhi teen seat di gai hain, wo bhi shamil hain. Aur Nishad party ko bhi, kyunki pehle hum chunaav un ke sath lade hain. pic.twitter.com/iwCPvDRFYN
